  I had a lovely visit to the Lambton Hotel while travelling alone on a business trip. From the moment I arrived, Adam and his amazing staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the service throughout my visit was excellent. You can really tell the team takes pride in making guests feel comfortable and looked after. A fantastic local pub with great hospitality — I’ll certainly be returning. Next time, I’ll definitely be booking one of the rooms for an overnight stay as well.

  Went a couple Months back it was lovely. Got this homemade pizza not one complaint. To then go back today and wow we paid £12 for a pizza to come out to be a frozen pizza !!! £12 for a bloody frozen pizza which they probably got from herons up the road for like £3 !!!!! Joke and The coke was off we had to take it back and even when it was swapped it was disgusting. Plus they came over and took away our plates when my mam was still eating her chips. wouldn’t recommend.

  Stayed at the Lambton, room 9, for one night. These are the positives: - Friendly staff on arrival and check out, explained everything very well - Bedroom is clean and well presented - Sufficient wardrobe space - Good location - Pillows and Blanket were good quality The negatives: - Lack of WiFi - No milk cartons for your tea/coffee - Bedroom Side lights lightbulbs were missing - Toilet seat loose. Overall toilet needs a clean - Toilet plumbing needs fixing, there's a little leak where the waste pipe is. - Bathroom hand wash soap was running out -The glass shelf to the side of the sink makes it difficult to stand in front of the sink Overall, it's suitable for a single night stay. However, will be considering other places if I'm staying for more than a night

  The description of the states WiFi available throughout. This was not the case I was there. I asked twice about it with staff members and told twice to login to the cloud. As I needed WiFi for working I had to leave the premises after no more than an hour. I quickly found alternative accommodation and stayed there with full WiFi without disruption. I wouldn't stop here if you need to work whilst away from the office or home.
